Phil Plotnek, is an associate outreach worker with Celebrate Messiah Australia. Phil, together with his wife Adrienne and their 4 children, are Jewish believers in Jesus who share an infectious love for their Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and a burden to see all people come to knowledge of the Messiah. Phil teaches on the Jewish legacy of the Christian faith and its biblical significance for us today; and preaches soundly from the Word of God. Phil holds a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Studies, and has been in ministry for over 20 years.
Phil has recently returned from Israel with an urgency to see believers everywhere turn their focus to their own personal relationship with the Lord first and foremost, and then to preach the good news to all those who are perishing. (Matthew 7:15-23)
Apart from being a seasoned speaker Phil is also a gifted musician and anointed worship leader. From time to time he is seen on the Australian Christian Channel, Optus TV, and has launched three Messianic Albums. Phil is passionate about teaching and passionate in worship. With Celebrate Messiah, Phil has coupled his gifting and calling to minister throughout Australia and overseas, fulfilling the greatest commission.
Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
Phil grew up in Melbourne, Australia, in a home where both parents were involved in full time Evangelistic Ministry. Phil’s father, Joseph Plotnek, a Jewish believer in Jesus and evangelist from Birmingham, UK, married Noelene, an Australian missionary to the Aboriginal people in Sydney’s La Perouse. As a missionary family they traveled throughout Australia and the UK. Some people best remember Phil’s father for his radio ministry in Melbourne throughout the 60’s and 70’s and his autobiography, “This Poor Man Cried”.
